Overview

A new video game studio needed a website to correspond with their official launch that would embody their style and showcase them as a company. It was important to keep things on-trend for their industry and make the site as user friendly as possible.

Strategy

We knew the best way forward for this project was an accessible site that would fully implement the WordPress Site Editor so Big Blue Sky would be able to update and manage every part of their website without needing outside help.

Design & Development

We identified key pages and features necessary for launch, including press releases, blog posts, and team member profiles. The overall pages and features for the site were straightforward, so we got to work mapping out the blocks and styles that would be needed to give them a fully customized website that would last a long time and still be easy to update.

With a tight deadline to correspond with their launch, we gave them a few custom elements for the hero areas throughout the site, expedited the review process, and got the site launched.

Results

Big Blue Sky Games has been able to independently manage and update their site with new press releases, blog posts, and even new team members. They added a few extra behind-the-scenes elements to the site post-launch, too, which demonstrates the flexibility and ease of use of the site editor.

They’ll be able to update and refine their site as they grow. This independence empowers them to maintain an up-to-date, on-trend, and engaging online presence.

Working with Kinetic Iris was an impressively positive experience. Our requests were always promptly addressed, and every detail taken into consideration. Throughout the process, we felt like we were consistently taken care of. We’ll definitely be working with them again!
